Prospective tutors must successfully complete a one-unit, online Tutor Training course: EDUC 0894. Completing the course does not guarantee employment at the ASC.
The position pays $16.50 an hour.
You may tutor any class in which you've earned a grade of B or higher. If you took the classes at another school, please provide transcripts.
You must provide instructor recommendations for any subject you wish to tutor.
Student workers must be enrolled in 6 units at COS during the semester in which they'll be tutoring.
Student workers must be at least 17 years of age to work at the ASC, but you are welcome to take the Tutor Training course at any time.
Student workers can work up to 20 hours a week.
You can earn credits (up to 3 per semester) for working at the ASC if you sign up for CWEE (Cooperative Work Experience Education).
