What does tutoring look like?

Tutoring can look a lot of different ways. In our welcoming, comfy space in the LRC (next to Basecamp) we offer:

Deep-dive sessions — spend focused time with a tutor to better understand tough topics
Quick-question drop-ins — no appointment needed
Study Squad — work on homework with a tutor nearby to help when you need it
Independent study time — study on your own with a tutor on standby

What are EdTALKs?

EdTALKs are half hour interactive sessions, held in our Level-Up Lounge, where ASC staff & guest speakers explore topics of interest students. You can discover new study skills or how to navigate Canvas. You can learn about Financial Aid how to use Library resources. Drop in for Wellness Wednesday sessions with our life coach, Courtney, to learn more about yourself or even relax with some yoga stretches.

This semester we're piloting a new bi-weekly EdTALKs series: Tap into Tutoring, featuring a panel of peer tutors who will discuss everything from study strategies to achieving life balance as a busy student. Can't make it to campus?

We've got you! This semester we're excited to partner with Tutor.com, an online tutoring service that has been supporting students for over 25 years. Tutor.com provides 24/7 one-on-one tutoring; paper feedback; study groups and an extensive library of learning resources.
