Ebooks: Ebook Central

Ebook Central is a collection of over 45,000 book titles that can be used with any COS class. The collection is primarily nonfiction with some reference titles, all of which have been selected for a community college audience. Ebook Central is continuously updated and, in general, has more current titles than our EBSCO eBook Collection.

General notes

• Ebook Central is the new name for our ebrary ebook collection.
• You can provide links to a specific Ebook Central ebook, chapter, or page.
• Ebook Central allows an unlimited number of simultaneous users for most titles EXCEPT...
• Titles such as e-textbooks often only allow one user at a time. If you use an Ebook Central ebook for assigned reading, please remind your students not to all wait until the last minute! If sharing a single ebook copy for assignments just isn't working, please let us know: we may be able to purchase additional copies.
