Steps to Get Started

1) Apply to College of the Siskiyous (COS)

Complete CCCApply and complete the COS application for the semester you plan to take classes.

If you’re a new student (or haven’t taken a COS class in over a year), your first step is to create or log in to your CCCApply account.

Tips for Applying:

Use a personal email address, not your high school email.
Check your spam/junk folder for important messages.
Make sure to both create your CCCApply account and click “Start a New Application” once logged in.

2) Watch for Your Confirmation Email from COS

After you submit your application, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the COS Registration Department. This email includes your mySiskiyous username and password. You will need these to access your student account.

📧 If you don’t receive this email within 24–48 hours, contact Registration@siskiyous.edu and include your full name and date of birth.

3) Submit the Parent/Guardian Permission Form

Before you can register for classes, your parent or legal guardian must complete and verify the Parent/Guardian Permission Form. It is important that the parent/guardian uses their personal email to verify the form.

This form only needs to be submitted once while you’re a COS student.

4) Submit the High School Official Permission Form

Each school year (summer–spring), your high school counselor or designated official must complete the High School Official Permission Form.

5) Wait for Account Activation and Registration Info

Once your application and both permission forms have been received, the COS Registration team will process your paperwork and prepare your student account. You’ll get an email from COS when your account is ready — that means you can register during the designated registration period!

During our peak registration times, our Registration team can be very busy, so the time to process your paperwork can vary depending on the workload at the time.
